2010-04-26 Abstract acceptance started
Today we have started with the abstract acceptance notification process. Because of the high number of abstracts (~1680) and because of the longer submission and shorter evaluation periods, that process will take about one week.
All abstract rejections were communicated earlier.
Please wait for your personal abstract acceptance e-mail in the coming week. Please contact us for an earlier confirmation only if you really need it urgently.

Grants

Though the normal registration fee is kept low, there are several grant options available. Grants will particularly, but not exclusively, encourage and help the participation of

  • active researchers (both in academic and applied positions) from countries, mainly from Latin America, Asia and Africa, where IMA had smaller impact in the last decades and/or where research and teaching of mineral sciences is less organised;
  • students and young scientists of promising dedication, with first results, but limited funds;
  • retired researchers of strong accumulated academic record, but no more institutional and financial background.
